There are nine cruise ports across NSW. Ports include Sydney (Overseas Passenger Terminal and White Bay Terminal), Yamba, Coffs Harbour, Trial Bay (South West Rocks), Wollongong (Port Kembla), Newcastle, Batemans Bay, Kiama and Eden.

Alcohol allowances vary between cruise lines. Some allow you to bring wine and Champagne on board, others do not. Always check ahead with the line you’re travelling with.

Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) enables you to claim a refund for the Good and Services Tax (GST) and the Wine Equalisation Tax (WET) that you paid on goods purchased in Australia, after you’ve checked in. A TRS desk is available at both the Overseas Passenger and White Bay Terminals for international cruises. 

Government-issued photo ID is required for domestic trips, and a passport with at least six months’ validity is required for international voyages. Your booking itinerary is required for all cruises.

If you’re departing on a domestic cruise you’ll need to complete a health questionnaire, while international cruise passengers must complete a health questionnaire and an outbound passenger card. Both documents are available inside the terminal.
